10-day lockdown to be imposed in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad from July 13 amid rising coronavirus cases


In wake of the growing coronavirus cases in the condition, the Maharashtra government on Friday introduced its selection to implement a total ten working day lockdown inside the Pune district from July 13 to July 23. The authorities more mentioned that the lockdown will probably be enforced in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and some aspects of Non-urban Pune in wake of the growing coronavirus cases.

“Complete lockdown released for Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and a few elements of Countryside Pune from 13th July to 23rd July. Only outlets related to important professional services like dairy and health care stores and hospitals will remain open,” media firm ANI quoted Pune Divisional commissioner Deepak Mhaisekar as stating.


At the same time,AndnbspPune region collector Naval Kishore Ram claimed that the lockdown is going to be appliedAndnbsp22 towns in countryside parts of the Pune district. Ram further said that the district representatives will also increase the quantity of containment zones in the section, claimed ANI.

This will come just time after the Pune area recorded its largest solitary-day increase of 1,803 new coronavirus situations on Fri.
