As Aadhaar is becoming mandatory now carrying a various number of tasks in India. According to the government of India, every Indian citizen should link their Aadhaar number bank accounts, PAN card, mobile numbers and others. For unknown, Aadhaar is a 12 digit unique code given by the Indian government to each Indian resident. There are two use cases when you want to visit the Aadhaar Enrollment center — one is when you need to enroll someone in Aadhaar and when you need to update the details on the existing Aadhaar card. When it comes to locating Aadhaar enrollment center, there are 25,000 such centers across India including banks and post offices. You can start searching the centers by going to UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/) followed by clicking on Locate Enrollment & Update Centers. You can search by three options
1. Search by state
2. Search by pin code
3. Using the search box
Search Criteria – State
If you opted for searching by state, you will see a list of drop-down menu, where you need to select your state, district, sub-district and VTC (Village Town City). You can tick the checkbox if you are looking out for permanent centers. Once you are done with it, enter the verification code and click on search.
Search Criteria – Pin Code
This step is rather simple, where you need to enter your PIN code in your area to locate the center. Once you are done with it, enter the verification code and click on search. You can tick the checkbox if you are looking out for permanent centers. Once you click search, you will get a name of contact person, phone number, and address, along with location from Gmaps.
Search Criteria – Search box
If you are not sure about any of the details mentioned above, you can directly go to search box and type the city name or your locality on it. Once you are done with it, enter the verification code and click on search. You can tick the checkbox if you are looking out for permanent centers.
