India openly asks France to arm Rafale fighters with Meteor air-to-air flow missiles to counter Chinese and Pak jets
Indian authorities has requested its French counterpart to arm the first four rafale fighters with the Meteor atmosphere-to-atmosphere missiles, that has a hit range of 120 to 150 kms, reported Times during India.
According to the report, the ask for for about 8-10 Meteor Beyond Visual Range (BVR) to get delievered with all the four Rafale jets was developed during Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s trip to France earlier this season.
