MHA asks paramilitary forces to ban Facebook for personnel; Delhi HC quashes plea seeking interim relief from decision


A notice has become directed by the Ministry of House Affairs to any or all paramilitary causes, which include CRPF, ITBP, BSF, CISF, and NSG, which includes asked the pushes to prohibit Facebook for the serving along with formerly servicing employees who consistently stay in touch with the army staff after their services as well.

An email directed from the workplace of Minister of Status (Residence) G. Kishan Reddy for all the Key Armed Law enforcement Force organisations that this bar needs to be laid to the ‘entire force’.

“This bar must be extended to the overall force like CRPF, ITBP, and ex-servicemen also since they are generally in touch with our armed causes. Essentially, India needs to have our personal app like Facebook or Instagram to which no international country must have entry,” a message sent to the CAPFs reads, ANI reported.


Army suspended the usage of Facebook and Instagram already
Indian Army had already banned its personnel by using social network platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
