Norway government plans to electrified flights by 2040


By 2040 the Norway government plans to elect 100% of the short-distance flights. The Aviation Authority of Norway (ABA) said it has set a target for electrification throughout the country for a maximum of one and a half hours.

Norway is the world’s first in the production and movement of electric cars. The country plans to carry out electrification in air traffic to avoid pollution caused by genetic fuels. Furthermore, the noise level and the cost of aircraft will fall.
