PM addresses BJP workers of Tamil Nadu through Video Conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with booth workers from Kanyakumari, Nilgris, Coimbatore, Namakkal and Salem of Tamil Nadu through video conferencing. Interacting with Karyatakas from Coimbatore, Prime MInister said that BJP government has given special attentions to the needs of people living in South India. Prime Minister said that BJP believes that India can only develop when North, South, East and West develop together. Launching scathing attack on Congress, Prime MInister said that various defense-related scams, including Bofors scandal and Augusta Westland scam, surfaced during Congress regime. He said that, historically, defense deals have remained source of income and funding for Congress. Prime Minister said that Congress is responsible for the plight of farmers. He said that BJP is the only party which is committed to the welfare of farmers. Prime Minister also appreciated the roles played by people from the middle class in nation building. Prime Minister also said that inflation, which touched double-digit figures during UPA regime, has now been brought under control for the convenience of middle class.
