Spotify comes to India with 30-day free trial

Spotify, one of the world’s biggest music streaming platform, is now available in India. It began its services in India after the Bombay High Court denied an injunction filed by Warner Music company over licensing rights.

Spotify premium offers services such as ad- free music, podcasts and offline playback. In India, the company is also offering a 30-day free trial after which it will charge the monthly subscription price. The annual subscription charge is Rs. 1189. While students can avail a 50% discount on monthly subscription. Prepaid plans are available for durations ranging from a day to six months.
